The Postgraduate Diploma in Management programme will serve as an excellent route for students who wish to continue onto Masters and Doctorate level programmes. This qualification will enable up to 120 credits to be used as exemptions on appropriate Masters courses. Thus students with the ICM Postgraduate Diploma in Management may only be required to take the final 60 credits in order to complete a full Masters degree programme.

ENTRY  REQUIREMENTS

Students in the UK
Students with an IELTS score of 5.5 or higher can enrol directly onto Diploma  courses OR Students can take the Diploma courses entry test at LITE  to prove their level of English
All students wishing to enrol onto the Post Graduate Diploma must have a relevant degree, i.e: a University degree in a business orientated subject such as Management, Marketing, Accounting or Finance. Students who have completed or are about to complete the ICM Graduate Diploma may also enrol onto the Post Graduate Diploma. ICM reserves the right to accept or decline students’ previous qualifications.

Overseas Students
1: Students with an IELTS score of 5.5 or higher can enrol directly onto Diploma courses
2: Students who have not passed the IELTS exam may take a PRE-SESSIONAL course  lasting up to 6 months to achieve the required 5.5 score. Entry onto these pre-sessional courses requires students to achieve a satisfactory grade in the LITE entry test.

Examinations
The exams take place at LITE and are closely monitored by an invigilator to make sure they are completed under exam conditions. All exam fees are included in the course price. The Postgraduate Diploma consists of two exams and six assignments which are sent to ICM for grading. Four modules are taught as full time classes with  two modules mentored by your teacher once per week.

Books
Students must purchase their own books for this course. Student and exam registration are included in course fees.

Terms
Each term is 12 weeks in length and starts in January, March, June and September. Classes run for 10 weeks, then the examinations are held during the 12th and 13th weeks, so you do not have formal classes, but the teacher will be available for revision queries.

Tutorials
Your tutor will meet with you to discuss your progress on the course at least once in each module (although quite often they may spend on-to-one time with you throughout the module).
This helps you to tell your tutor about what you are finding difficult and they can give you advice about how to solve these problems.

Teachers

The ICM course teachers are carefully chosen for both their teaching experience and industry knowledge. They will have worked in the field and will have plenty of practical examples to give to you a thorough understanding of business related concepts and theories.
